The beach is open daily from late June through Labor Day, from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
In order to enter Mountain Lake Beach, proof of a Smallwood Civic Association (SWCA) membership or, for guests or renters, proof of lake privileges is required. Beach gatekeepers will require all people entering the beach to show proof of membership or lake privileges. Note to members with rental houses: Please advise any renters with lake privileges that in order to enter the beach, they must sign in with proof of identification that corresponds to your rental house.
Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Red Cross swimming lessons are offered to children of members, and during the "season" lessons will be available 5 days per week. Sign up will be available here (in the near future) or at the beach gate. The Beach Manger is in charge of the beach. In the Beach Manager’s absence, an Assistant Snacks may be purchased at the beach entrance gate. Additionally, listen for the cow bell daily at 1:00pm and 3:30pm that announces ice cream is available for sale. |
Failure on part of SWCA members and their guests or renters to abide by the beach rules or cooperate with beach staff, may result in the suspension or revocation of beach privileges. Continued rule breaking or lack of cooperation with staff will put a membership in Thank you for your cooperation. |
